MeltBlowns

It’s the finest fibre man can produce commercially. We have a state-of-the-art machine from the US with a capability of producing bicomponent fibre. With melt-blown technology, we can produce fibres with less than 10-micron diameters. Due to fine fibre structure, medias produced using this technology are used for applications like filtration, insulation and absorption.
We can process various materials like Polypropylene (PP), Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT). Polylactic Acid (PLA), Polyethylene (PE), Polyamide (PA) etc.
Out of the above materials PP is widely used for applications like indoor air quality, healthcare, water and cabin air filtration. These medias can be electrostatically charged to improve the performance of filtration efficiency at the low-pressure drop.
PBT is mainly used for transportation filtration application mainly for oil and fuel. AIM has developed fully synthetic oil filtration media which has excellent filtration performance like high dust holding capacity and high efficiency. PBT medias are also used for water filtration from fuel.
We produce medias right from 18 gsm to 500 gsm depending on customer’s requirement

Coating

Aim provides coating solutions filter media and nonwovens that help enhance the functional properties. Nanofiber

In the recent times of swine flu, avian flu and other such pandemics, we have realized a need for the requirement of high-efficiency filter media. Supplied on a global basis our filter media are used in both flat as well as made masks. Our media’s adhere to the US respiratory standards like N95, NIOSH or European standards of FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3.

Gradient Lamination

Gradient lamination is the buzzword in filter industry these days. With our extensive range of nonwovens Aim is able to design media that will enhance filtration properties. Nonwovens made using various production techniques are combined to form gradient filtration that enhances the life and property of the filter. From Liquid to air filtration, every form of filter these days will need gradient structure. We use several methods for gradient lamination like hot melt lamination, scatter coating, liquid coatings and so on to club the media's into a composite unit.

Needle Punching

It’s a dry-laid process comprised of the opening of fibres, carding, cross lapper and bonding takes place by mechanical needle punching. Our line width is 2.2 m.
We are processing various materials in fibre forms like polyester (PET), polypropylene (PP), wool and cotton. We are catering to various applications using this technology like automotive NVH, HVAC Filtration, Healthcare, Household etc.
We produce medias from 60 gsm to 200 gsm based on client’s requirement.

Thermal Bonding

We have recently commissioned a brand new thermal bonding line with a working width of 2.4 m. It’s a dry-laid process comprised of carding, cross lapper and bonding takes place by exposing the web to temperature by passing through the oven.
We are processing various materials in fibre forms like polyester (PET), polypropylene (PP) and cotton. We are catering to various applications using this technology like pre-filters for HVAC, Paint Booth, Stiff Medias, Healthcare, Automotive NVH, Building Acoustics etc.
We produce medias from 60 gsm to 3000 gsm based on client’s requirement.

Chemical Bonding

It’s a dry-laid process comprised of the opening of fibres, carding, cross lapper and bonding takes place by passing through chemical bath followed by drying and cross-linking by passing through a series of hot rolls. Our line width is 2.2 m.
We are processing various materials in fibre forms like polyester (PET) and viscose. We are catering to various applications using this technology like coolant filtration, interlining, tape backing, etc
We produce medias from 20 gsm to 60 gsm based on client’s requirement.
